Super Wild Megaways slot by StakeLogic is about as basic as you can get. It uses their classic old pub fruit theme from the 1970's with ancient old sounds like those from Tuppenny Nudger and symbols to match, along with a plain appearance. Red Tiger have used these basic symbols a few times with games such as Mystery Reels Megaways and the famous multiway game Laser Fruit but even these are more advanced than Super Wild Megaways. So can we go wild for this slot or will our bankroll plummet super fast?
On The Reels...
We have the same sort of game as the original Bonanza Megaways here, with similar pays and maths. The scrolling reel at the top means we have a minimum of 324 to a maximum of 117,649 ways per spin with the Star Wild appearing on the top scroll too. Wilds can also appear on reels 2-6 int he base reels and the 6-of-a-kind pays are 7's 50x, Melon 7.5x, Grapes or Strawberry 2x, Bell or Plus 1.75x, Pear or Orange 1x, Lemon 0.9x and finally Cherry 0.8x. So the same as Bonanza's. Symbols appear both stacked and singly and in common with most Megaways slots are replaced when they win with more from above.
Crown Bonus
There are two minor differences to the formula on Super Wild Megaways slot. Firstly the top scrolling reel doesn't move symbols to the left, but each individual position of the four will spin round and reveal another symbol which take some getting used to! Secondly, the Mystery Symbols on the reels, the Crowns, award random cash values for 3 or more up to 6. If you see 3 you get 2 to 50x bet and all 6 40 to 500x bet. In the free games they pay a fixed amount which gets multiplied like other wins, the top being 200x for all 6 down to 10x for 3.
Free Games
You need 4 or more 'SW' scatters for free games, 12 for 4 and 5 extra for each scatter over that amount. You get an increasing multiplier for each winning action and 3 or 4 SW's on the scrolling reel only awards 5 or 10 extra spins respectively. Crown wins are also multiplied.
Our View...
Super Wild Megaways slot isn't bad at all if you like the very retro appearance and sounds. The RTP is a decent 96.07% and the Crown awards are a nice touch as are the top 4 symbols spinning instead of rolling which keeps the anticipation going as you can win unexpectedly. Other than that it's a pretty volatile game which can pay over 24,000x bet theoretically and is reasonable alternative to say Bonanza or Diamond Mine Megaways. I'm not quite wild about it myself, but I would certainly play it again...
