Divine Lotus slot summary
Divine Lotus slot by Thunderkick brings us a juvenile take on the oriental theme and is a mechanic clearly based upon their classic Pink Elephants slot. As with Flame Busters and their more recent slot Riders of The Storm we have a multiway game which has the reels surrounded by a wooden scroll and a fantasy Chinese landscape in the background. The music and sounds are matched well to the subject and are quite pleasant on the ear, but will there be some divine intervention on behalf of our bankroll here?
On The Reels...
There are no fixed lines over our 6 reels of 4 rows each, featuring stacked symbols. This is because Divine Lotus has 4096-ways which means that symbols pay on adjacent reels from the left. The 6-of-a-kind wins are 10x bet for the Dragon Mask, 5x for the Red cartoon Dragon, 4.7x Yellow, 4.5x Green and 4.2x for the Blue with six card values paying 3.4 down to 2.1x for a full way. You do get single Wilds here on all but the first reel and there are mystery Lotus symbols stacked on all reels which transform to any icon bar the Wild or scatter. The scatters are also Lotus symbols but with a gold frame and these appear stacked up to 2 rows high.

You need Gold Lotus scatters on at least 3 separate reels to get 2 free spins plus one spin for every triggering scatter. This means at least 5 spins which doesn't sound much but every time a Lotus Scatter appears on a reel you get an extra spin per reel it appears on. You will see a meter on the left which has 6 Lotus levels and each scatter fills one in, and when 6 are collected you get an extra spin. Each meter represents the 4 Dragon icons as described in the reels section above, starting with the lowest Blue one and when the 6 are collected this symbols becomes the top paying Mask on the reels. Our View...
This Divine Lotus slot rather feels an inferior copy of the Pink Elephants game with virtually the same pays and mechanic bar the extra spins in the bonus. The sounds are decent enough but visually it's nothing special and looks slightly childish to boot. The RTP is fine at 96.14% but base game big wins are very rare and the feature is easy enough to trigger but seldom less than disappointing in the outcome. If you like 4096-way slots there are many to head over to before you choose this one...
