Baron Bloodmore slot review

baron bloodmore slot gameBaron Bloodmore slot (and the Crimson Castle) by Thunderkick is loosely themed on Dracula, a spooky castle in the background with spine-tingling music and sound effects to make the scene. It's pretty standard for this subject as regards symbols, a bit like Barcrest's Vampire Desire slot or Elk Studio's Blood Lust slot and numerous others of this ilk. So can our bankroll avoid the blood letting here or will we get it in the neck, literally?

On the reels...

So we get 5 reels of 3 rows and 25 pay lines here on Baron Bloodmore slot. Symbols can appear stacked including the Wilds which appear on all reels and their 5-of-a-kind pay is the same as the Baron himself at 30x bet. The Gargoyle pays 15x, Wolf 12.5x, Eagle 10x and we have 4 card values at either 3.5 or 3x for each full line of 5. You may also randomly get a colossal 3x3 block symbol landing on the middle reels which can reveal anything but scatters. We do get two good features here as well.

Free Spins

You are rewarded with 10, 15 or 20 for 3, 4 or 5 Winged Skull scatters respectively. You cannot retrigger them as the colossal symbol is present on the middle 3 reels every spin for the duration. And that's your enhancement.

Crimson Cash Bonus

This is essentially a scaled-down version of Relax Gaming's Money Train 2 slot's bonus. You need the Blood Moon Castle scatter on 3 different reels to trigger it. You have some bet multiplier values of 1-50x displayed on an otherwise blank reel set of 15 positions where your triggering scatters landed. There will also be a Gold pattern highlighted on 5 positions. You get 3 re-spins which are reset to 3 every time a sticky bet multiplier or special tile lands. There are a few modifiers here:
Pattern Collect - fill your 5-tile pattern in and a Pattern Collect tile is created in the centre which combines all the bet multiplier values in the Pattern and multiplies them 2x, before returning the 5 tile positions to spinning again.
Spawn Tile - this is a Gold Bat and will create a random bet multiplier which it will then add to all other sticky tiles in view.
Copy Tile - a Coffin which will collect all multiplier values in view and hold them after adding them to your win thus far.
The bonus ends after 3 consecutive re-spins producing no more winning tiles, or when 25,000x bet has been reached. I'll let you guess which one of those is the most likely scenario.

Our View...

Baron Bloodmore slot has a RTP of 96.07% and I could be overly critical here and dismiss it as a half-assed copy of Relax Gaming's Money Train slots because they are clearly where the inspiration for this game originated. I do think it's got good graphics, sounds and animations although it's a bit too brightly coloured for this Gothic theme. The free games can be frustrating when the first reel doesn't match the colossal symbol for spin after spin but there is some excitement and potential there. The best round though with the big potential is the Crimson Cash which is quite involving when it goes right for you, via the modifiers reoccurring. This is your best bet for a big win. So I say that Baron Bloodmore could well turn out to be Baron Cashmore for you...
