Blood Lust slot by Elk Studios takes us into the classic theme that underpins some pretty decent slots. The most famous has to be Microgaming's classic Immortal Romance but I reckon Netent's original Blood Suckers slot was pretty good if a little low in potential and I like the sequel, Blood Suckers 2. This game doesn't look as flashy as any of those three with background Transylvania artwork and dark reels with Gothic music as we play. There's a weird trigger here. When you land 3 scatters, a rectangle is formed around them to decide the number of spins. So say you land them in a row on consecutive reels, you'd only get 3! If you landed say one in each top corner and the third on the bottom of any of the middle reels, the rectangle would surround all 15 positions tiles and give you the maximum 15 free spins. You can retrigger them by getting 3 to give whatever the rectangle will create. Your enhancement is collecting the 3 vampire characters green, blue, and red, and filling a 4-space meter for each. When any are full, they turn to Yellow Dracula, the highest symbol plus award one extra spin. With 99 lines, this means 396x bet is the top hit on this slot.
I am not sure what Blood Lust slot is trying to be. It's got little potential, and pretty average graphics and animations although the sounds are good. The re-spin feature is tedious and the base game is pretty boring if I'm honest. The free games can be fun to observe but you will be lucky to win over 200x in a bonus here, even with the 96.00% RTP. Sorry, I won't be lusting after this game again...
