What that does is bump up the paylines to 60, and in the process allows you to play the game's bonus rounds. It's a little sneaky of slot developer Cryptologic as it penalises lower-end bettors to enjoy the bonus games.

Aesthetically speaking, the look and feel of the slot is very much old-school. On the reels we get the Flash himself, the thunderbolt logo, a selection of Flash bad guys like Captain Cold and Gorilla Crod, plus some 1940s-looking 10-through-ace card symbols.
As well as the authentic graphics there are some nice animated moves whenever you hit a winning combo, including lightning strikes whenever the Wild symbol forms a winning combo.

Flash himself forms that Wild, and he substitutes for all symbols other than the Scatter and Bonus.
Pay attention to the Wild, as it acts in different ways during gameplay. During the base game it acts normally, and if you have the Bonus Bet button activated he'll multiply winnings by five.
Three, four or five Scattered Flash logos trigger the Rogues Bonus Round, but only if you have the Bonus Bet button activated.

12 free spins will be awarded in the bonus round, and they include several bonus features depending on which of Flash's nemeses you pick to help you win more cash.
Choose Captain Cold from the options, and if a Wild appears during free spins it will expand to fill the whole reel. Choose Gorilla Crod, meanwhile, and a Roaming Wild will be added to the reels during the freebies if he appears.

As with Superman, this slot is not for the faint-hearted, but big gamblers and comic book fans should find plenty to enjoy.
