Casino gaming and software provider GameAccount has announced that it is set to launch a new free play casino product in the US state of New York this week.
The launch of this new product will be made in partnership with the Empire City Casino and will be highly anticipated as a pioneering venture that is the first product of its kind to be released in the state. Plans to launch the free play casino were initially unveiled in October last year.
The online site for Empire City Casino will include a number of features linked in to their land-based casino offering such as a loyalty rewards scheme and a number of games that players can already play at the land-based casino.
Games at the casino will be available to play for free or players can play using a virtual currency. The games will be available for players to access via their desktop computers as well as being able to play through their mobile devices.
As part of the sign up process, players will be required to fill in the ‘Know Your Customer’ verification forms and this can be done either through the Facebook app or via an email application process to ensure players abide by the rules of New York state law.
GameAccount CEO Dermot Smurfit said “We are delighted with the early results generated by Simulated Gaming and are privileged to bring the same compelling experience online for Empire City Casino and their patrons.”
Smurfit added “Enabling land-based casinos in the US to move online is a core part of our mission statement and our Simulated Gaming experience has been proven to increase patron visitation on-property and generate meaningful levels of income from a new online channel.”
GameAccount Network has helped developers such as Aristocrat to launch a number of high profile land-based slots titles online over the past few years to a positive reception. Top land-based slots titles launched online by Aristocrat in partnership with GameAccount Network have included the famous Wolf Moon slot and the animal-themed Wild Panda slot.
