We get a funky guitar pop-rock soundtrack which incorporates some noises to reflect this fowl theme and 25 pay lines. The icons are all single and pay tribute to the 1970's where the top-paying ones are concerned, which are all cars. The Wild is the dayglo hippy camper van awarding 30x bet for a 5-of-a-kind then the Red Ferrari at 20x, the cop car and pink 4x4 wagon at 10x and the Yellow Taxi pays 6x bet for the 5. Crosstown bonuses
So you will notice parts of the reels as they spin have a Zebra Crossing (or 'crosswalk' as Genesis term it) background. This prevents our chickens getting squashed under the traffic as when they land to the right of the chickens, they can move across that reel and get to safety between the lanes. This is because you don't have scatters here but 3 different bonuses triggered cumulatively when any chicken manages to make it across to its respective egg the other side of the row. Just a warning - changing stake upwards or downwards when any chicken is part of the way across will reset their progress back to the left again!

Crosstown Chicken slot shows again the imagination of Genesis Gaming but, unlike their 8 Bit Intruders game, is far more playable and better executed. The Chickens won't rush to get across to their casino and respective bonuses, but while waiting wins are plentiful and your balance should see them through to their rewards. The best potential lies in the free games which can pay 750x bet for a full screen of expanding Wilds, but all pay a reasonable amount usually. A good 96.91% RTP is present too. Crosstown Chicken did not roast my balance at all and will is likely to keep me trying to get this chicken across that road!
