Golden Ticket 2 slot summary
Golden Ticket 2 slot by Play'n Go uses a tried-and-tested old mechanic based on that of the original Golden Ticket slot. You could well be familiar with it from other Play'n Go editions such as Troll Hunters and subsequently their remake of that game in Troll Hunters 2 which had few differences, like this game, from the original. That's not being negative as despite the limited innovation the formula is popular and players traditionally like it. Here we have the circus Big Top theme revisited with an audience in the background and the appropriate music along with grand announcements from the compere, plus the obligatory clown gurning to the right of the grid. If you suffer from coulrophobia, this isn't the game for you so let's hope our bankroll doesn't!
On The Grid...
You have cascading symbols filling a 5x5 grid on Golden Ticket 2 slot. You don't get replacement symbols which means there is a 500x bet bonus if you manage to clear the whole grid in one play. You need 3 or more tiles the same horizontally or vertically for a win and the centre position of the 3-of-a-kind wins turns Wild afterwards to help you get more hits as the spin goes on. Your 5-of-a-kind wins are 50x Marquee Wild, 10x Lady, Man or Clown with 5x for them mixed, 4x Hat, 3x Daggers or Target and finally 2x Monocycle or Skittles. You will see a meter on the left and any 3OAK win of the character symbols will fill one of the 3 segments, a 4OAK 2 and a 5OAK win all 3. Obviously multiplier 3OAK wins will fill a segment each and when the meter is full, you trigger a 2x Wild to be randomly placed on the grid. Should you fill it again, then a 3x Wild is placed and so-on.

You will on every spin see the word B-O-N-U-S behind the tiles on one of the top 3 of the 5 horizontal rows. Reveal the whole word to win the free games bonus during which filling the meter will award 1 win spin with a 2x2 block Wild added to create it. Now you can choose 9 spins where this Wild will be 1x, 7 spins where it is 2x or finally 5 spins where it will be a 3x block Wild if occurring. Our View...
Golden Ticket 2 slot has a good RTP of 96.50% and is moderately entertaining if you like the rapid-fire cascading action and frequent small wins which maintain your money. You won't win a great deal in the base game despite the fun and games so you need those free games to have a chance. Luckily they don't seem to hard to trigger but will mostly pay 10 to 50x bet in my experience due to their volatility but I always chose the 3x Wild win-spin option which you would likely need too, in order to have a chance at those crazy big wins. That said, this game is nothing we haven't seen before so if I was outside this big top I would say to you, "move along, nothing to see here"...
