Gonzo's Gold slot by Netent is alas a rare new release from this once prolific fallen developer. As usual, it's a pretty dismal one too. We have our famous Gonzo Conquistador character here from the classic 20-line Gonzo's Quest slot and later reproduced as Gonzo's Quest Megaways, both popular games unlike this one will ever be. He looks a bit softer than the explorer in Play'n Go's Aztec Idols slot which is probably no bad thing. We get the tribal music, a temple background with historical symbols so overall not a bad appearance. So can it be gold for our bankroll here or will Gonzo have given up the ghost for us?

You get a 96.11% RTP on Gonzo's Gold slot which is average. That's pretty much the word I'd use for everything here, the animations, sounds, music, graphics and gameplay. It certainly won't appeal to the volatility thrill-chasers of their other two Gonzo slots but is more a low-medium variance game. The free games can be alright when they appear, a few hundred times bet is the best you'll ever see usually and more like 20-80x in my experience here. Let's just summarize by saying this will not be Gonzo's most productive adventure...
