Bubble Craze slot summary
Now and again, mobile slots come around that defy convention and attempt something new to break the mould. No Reels?
Bubble Craze does not essentially have reels. It has five rows of symbols with the first row holding three symbols, the second holding four symbols, the third holding five symbols, the fourth holding four symbols, and the fifth holding three symbols. These do not spin but rather float up from the bottom of the screen into place. Once the “spin” is complete, the bubbles all burst and a new set of symbols float up the screen into position. It was also strange loading up this mobile slot and being told to keep your screen portrait to accommodate the layout. Usually, I'm being told to flip my mobile device into a landscape position. There I was being a cocky lad and propping my mobile into a landscape position only to be told to portrait it!
The Symbols
The symbols consist of different coloured bubbles. These include yellow, red, orange, green, blue, brown, and purple bubbles. Instead of hitting winning combinations, you must hit same coloured combinations to win prizes. If you hit four or more of the same coloured symbols adjacently then you will earn a 10x multiplier reward.
Earn 5x Multipliers
That is not where the game begins and ends fortunately. There is a multiplier bubble that can appear on the screen on each “spin”. These will add up to a 5x multiplier to any wins you achieve which can work out fairly lucrative over the course of a session on this game.

This slot might not have reels but it has free spins... or whatever you want to call them. If you hit three or more multi-coloured bubble symbols on a single “spin” then you will receive 5 free spins to play with. Transform to Win up to 1,000x Your Bet
We've covered different coloured symbols, multiplier symbols, and free spins symbols. Or bubbles if you will. However, there is one more symbol left to cover and that is the transform symbol. This is a bubble symbol that has four arrows positioned in its centre and this symbol will transform every symbol adjacent to it into an identical symbol. This can result is some massive combinations and it is possible to earn up to 10,000x your bet with this symbol.
Our View...
Bubble Craze isn't a text book mobile slot. The portrait layout gives it the same feel as the space-themed Apollo Rising but I would say it's actually a more convincing game. It lacks the standard Pick 'em Bonus you might expect from a mobile slot but there is a lot more to this game than simply being a Candy Crush Saga transfer. If you can't get enough of the bubbles then the Double Bubble mobile slot from Gamesys offers more colourful fun, except it actually has your standard 5 reels.
