Ghosts 'n' Gold slot by iSoftBet is their second 3888-way game after their recent and quite good 3888 Ways of the Dragon game with its high potential. It appears a bit childish at first with a twilight scene behind the reels of a dilapidated castle and the obligatory screams and shouts when we play, but these aren't too bad taken together. As with Spooky Family it won't scare you like their Paranormal Activity did me when it first appeared, possibly the most realistic horror slot ever made. So will we get gold here or will our bankroll have given up the ghost by the time we're done?
The 3888-ways are achieved here on the odd configuration of a 3-6-6-6-6 row pattern with single and double or triple-stacked icons. We pay 30-coins to play and the 5-of-a-kinds are 100-coins for Green Zombie, 60 Purple, 50 Red, 40 Blue, 30 Locket or Bowl and four card suits paying 20 or 15 coins for a full way. Wild Chests can appear but with the intervention of the Ghost as a random modifier who places 3 to 8 of them on the grid. Bonus Monsters appear only on the four 6-row reels and trigger our bonus.
You get 8 for 3 Bonus Monsters or 18 for all 4 possible. There aren't any extra spins, retriggers or mystery icons but the Ghost modifier will occur far more frequently to help rack those wins up. He does 3 or 4 sweeps of the grid adding 1 or 2 Wild Chests each time.
Ghosts 'n' Gold slot is pretty gentle despite the appearance and you can be assured of some decent play time here with frequent wins in the 10-30x bet range via the base game, usually when the Ghost appears. The RTP is 96% and although we have cartoon artwork it's all very colourful and good to watch, especially the animated sequences concerning the Ghost Wilds. You won't often see more than 100x in the free games but they come in really often to ensure the fun is maintained. Ghosts 'n' Gold maybe more Ghosts and Brass in reality, but I say give it a try...
