Free A Tale of Elves slot
Please be patient, some games take longer to load than others!
A Tale of Elves slot by Microgaming was designed by a smaller developer, Aurum. Well, I say 'designed' but alas as is usual with Microgaming, even this game is a clone. In this case, it's a copy of Game of Thrones slot, the 243-way version. Oh dear. A juvenile selection of Christmas music bytes, cartoon symbols and backgrounds present the game to us visually. Now I know Microgaming aren't the only ones to do this, Netent this year have done even worse by cloning Aloha! Cluster Pays slot by adding the C-word to it and have not even bothered to change the symbols, just the background! At least Yggdrasil with their Christmas tree slot have come up with something original but with Santa King Megaways slot Inspired Gaming have not been so industrious with their design, that game being a clone of Reel King Megaways. So can these elves be our bankroll's little helpers - or not?
On the reels...
There are 243-ways to win on A Tale of Elves slot with stacked Wild possible on all reels and the highest standard pay at 16.67x for 5-of-a-kind, although 5 Santa scatters pays 200x and two scatters do a random prize of 1x to 200x too. The high pays are 4 different colour Elves at 8 down to 5x, the low pays 4 card values at 2 down to 1.33x. Symbols aside from Wilds all appear singly and there are no random modifiers.
Landing 3 Santas awards a choice of free game volatility. You can pick the Elf yourself and get the following set-ups, all can be retriggered:
Yellow Elves - now appear in stacks up to 3 high and a 5x multiplier is applied and you get 8 spins.
Orange Elves - 10 spins, 4-stacked and a 4x multiplier.
Green Elves - 14 spins, 5-stacked with 3x multiplier.
Blue Elves - 18 spins, 6-stacked on the reels and 2x multiplier.
A Tale of Elves slot has made it tempting to create a simple one sentence conclusion - what's the point? The graphics are awful and the RTP poor at 95.27% although you can win up to 20,000x bet, a legacy of the original game. Which you should play instead of this nonsense. Enough said...
