Jungle Games slot review
Most slots developers take a trip to the African savannah once in a while, and although slot developer NetEnt's 5 reel, 20 pay-line slot, Jungle Games, may not strictly be set in the jungle, it still offers plenty of thrills. Not only that, it has some cute graphics. If you've played Ainsworth's animalistic Safari Spirit or particularly Betsoft Gaming's cracking 3D online slot, Safari Sam, you'll like the look of this.
Across the Reels...
The reels in Jungle Games are full of wacky-looking African animals all getting ready for a spot of Animalympics, from a boxing lion, a ping-pong playing rhino, and a weightlifting gorilla, to a basketball-spinning giraffe and a hippo who looks ready to jump in the pool.
Making up the symbols are the animals' individual props, so we get a pair of boxing gloves, a table tennis bat and ball, some weights, and so on.
2x Multipliers Are Up For Grabs!
The Wild is the trophy - the goal for all the animals - and it substitutes for all symbols in the game other than the Scatters. There's a 2x multiplier applied to all wins. Five Wilds across the reels will bag a 10,000x your line bet jackpot.
There's a Pick 'em Bonus!
The gold medal is the bonus Scatter and three or more anywhere on the reels triggers a Pick 'em bonus first in order to find out how many spins you get. Here, you can determine how many spins you receive and what kind of multiplier you will have applied to them.
Jungle Games is a seriously slick little slot from Net Ent. The little animations and sound FX when you hit a winning combo are lovely, but there are far too many different symbols in the game. Therefore I found the bonus round coming up far too infrequently.
Still, title aside (you can kind of see why the word 'Jungle' was included in the title to attract any wavering fans of the savannah-set Mega Moolah slot) Jungle Games is a great addition to anyone's online arsenal.
