On The Reels...

There's no surprise on the basic format here with the usual 10 fixed paylines over 5 reels of 3 rows each. Now you know where the missing 60% of line pays have gone - you have network progressives of 4 jackpots of Mini, Minor, Major and Grand. Any single Book scatter landing in either the base game or free spins adds coins to one of the pots. Now this Book may also throw coins over the screen too on occasion to reveal a set of 12 boxes. Each jackpot has its own colour and whichever colour you first reveal 3 of, you win that progressive.

Our View...

Book of Ra Mystic Fortunes makes a slot with an already low base-game return even worse by reducing the line pays. The jackpots game triggers aren't too rare but will nearly always reveal the lower two prizes which won't be enough to compensate for your losses via those reduced pays. Feature frequency is the same as you will have been used to on the normal version of the game but again those potential rewards have been severely hacked at. If you want to lose play time by putting your money into someone else's jackpot then fine, but this is one temple I will not be going to explore in future...
