Rumble Rhino Megaways slot

Rumble Rhino Megaways slot review

rumble rhino megaways slot gameRumble Rhino Megaways by Pariplay is their first licensed Megaways and tries to do something different. The African wildlife rhino theme though has been flogged to death already so not a fortunate choice by the developer. but ends up a pretty mundane game in all honesty.  There's been numerous similar-looking slots in the past such as Great Rhino Megaways, the inevitable Scientific Games release of Raging Rhino Megaways and of course Safari Gold Megaways, it's almost endless. Yes, we have the tribal music with animal sounds and symbols plus the standard veldt background. So can our bankroll profit from this rumble or will we end up having a big grumble?

On the reels...
There's a range of 2-6 symbols on the outer 2 reels and 2-7 on the centre 4, so 324-86436 possible ways to win on Rumble Rhino Megaways. Symbols are stacked and single with mystery icons available on all reels but not guaranteeing wins when they appear and there's no tumbles after wins either.  The 6-of-a-kind awards are very low with the top Gorilla only 5x bet but Rhino Wilds can appear single or stacked on reels 2-6.  The last basic feature of Rumble Rhino Megaways slot is Colossal symbols which can appear across the centre 4 reels from just one row to the whole space.  If the whole area is covered the symbol reveals a random number of rows on each of the 4 reels from 3-7 so a block of 12-28 symbols can occur here, including mystery ones.

Free Spins
You need to see a Diamond scatter on the end reels 1 and 6 to earn 12 free games which can retrigger.  As nearly every spin the outer two reels seem to produce only 2 or 3 symbols, this is harder than it sounds! This bonus is the most dull and disappointing I ever saw on a Megaways and I'll explain why: there's no modifier, no better frequency of mystery or Colossal symbols, no increasing multiplier in play, no anything!  One observation I made was that the centre reels seem to spin in more rows than the base game.

Our View...
With a win frequency of about 1/7 spins there's a funny variance in play on Rumble Rhino Megaways slot.  The base game is volatile as low symbol values means that you need multiple-way winning combinations via either the mystery symbols or more often the Colossal symbol landing.  These do appear though so can maintain the bankroll in between all the the micro-wins. Our RTP is fine at 96.16%, the game looks dull and uninspiring and despite being a hopelessly unexciting bonus, the free games are hard to land. Even worse, I had a few features while testing and between them they paid less than, and I'm not joking, 1x bet for their average! Pariplay might as well have made a simpler base-game only slot here, the feature is absolutely pointless. So I'll never rumble on this game again, but I'm certainly having a very severe grumble right now...
