On The Reels...
We start with 6 reels of varying rows on Safari Gold Megaways slot with a scroll of 4 single symbols appearing over the centre 4 reels. When the wheel spins it offers a combination of spins and starting multiplier so the worst is 5 spins starting at 1x and the best 15 starting at 10x. The maximum amount of spins possible on the wheel increases in line with the amount of triggering Diamonds as described just above. You can get 5 or 10 extra spins for 3 or 4 Diamonds appearing on the scrolling reel only during them as they aren't on the reels. You tend to see ore occurrences of the Mystery Lion Discs and unlike in the base game these will always produce a winning combination.

Safari Gold Megaways slot brings us absolutely nothing new to the now tired Megaways mechanic. It's simply Diamond Mine with the varying spins and multiplier wheel from some of their other Megaways slots applied. True, the graphics and soundtrack are very easy to live with but overall, despite the good 96.50% RTP, I can't escape the feeling of having seen it all before - many times. You get the huge potential of this maths model as always but we seem to have reached the point where each new Megaways game is simply a rehash of others with a different theme only.
