Barn Festival slot summary
Barn Festival slot by Pragmatic Play has one of those farm themes we seldom get but have had occasionally in the past. Netent's Tornado Farm Escape slot is the one most may have seen, but if not Microgaming's terrible Oink Country Love slot may have depressed you before now or WMS' Invaders from the Planet Moolah, the best of a bad bunch. So we get the lovely green rural farm idyll behind the reels, the predictable banjo country twang and the fruits of agriculture on the reels. So can we have a barn dance with our bankroll here or will it turn to shall we say, fertilizer?
On the reels...
You have 6 reels of 5 rows each with 8+ of any symbol scattered in order to pay on Barn Festival slot. The pays are for 12+ symbols at best, middle 10-11 symbols and low 8-9 symbols. The pays for highest/lowest are 50/10x stake Strawberry, 25/2.5x Orange, 15/2x Toadstool, 12/1.5x Corn, 10/1x Aubergine with four card suits of 8/0.8x down to 2/0.25x. You get tumbles so winning tiles are removed for further possible wins and there are no Wilds but you can get special Money Pot symbols. These have values of 1x to 500x and are multipliers added together from the point a third one appears, for any winning tumbles thereafter. If you land 3 at once without a win, you will get them put to one side and the game will tumble until a win appears in order to use their combined multiplier.
Money Re-spins
You need to collect 4 Money Pot multipliers to trigger re-spins. A special grid of 4x5 appears and you collect special symbols, each time you land one the re-spins are reset to 3. The specials are:
Money Pots - have an initial x stake value
Bronze Watering Can - will add a random x stake value to all Money Pots in view
Bronze Gems Cup - multiplies the value of 2-5 Money Pots in view by 2,3,4 or 5x then turns into a Money Pot
Silver Spade - acts as a collect and sucks in the total of all Money Pots in view, taking their value as it turns into a Money Pot itself.
Axe - unlocks a fifth column on the right for 5 extra positions the first time it lands, then a sixth column on the left for another 5 the second time, making a maximum grid of 30 positions.
Gold Watering Can - persistent add which means it will take a random Money Pot value each spin and add it to all Money pots in view.
Gold Gems Cup - persistent multiplier so each spin left it will random multiply 2-5 Money Pots by 2,3,4 or 5x.
Gold Spade - the best one, it's a persistent collect symbol which sucks in all the Money pot values each spin it's present for.
Our View...
With a RTP of 96.45% Barn Festival is OK in that respect. I am going to save time here by telling you it's a cheap and tacky rip-off of Relax Gaming's Money Train 2 slot, but only has a 20,000x win cap as opposed to 50,000x with the same 100x bonus buy in some jurisdictions. There's no reason to plant any money at this farm if you have access to the latter game....
