Empty the Bank slot by Pragmatic Play is another of those inane cartoon based bank robber themes. This kind of thing began way back with Microgaming's Bust the Bank slot (not bad actually) and we've had a Megaways in the form of Inspired's Cops 'n' Robbers and the daft Vault Cracker slot by Red Tiger. The scene is night time, the music befits a cartoon and I'll say no more. So can this be a case of emptying the bank for us, or more likely empty the bankroll?
On the reels...
There are 20 lines on Empty the Bank slot with stacked and single symbols over 5 reels of 4 rows. Your five picture symbol pays are for 5-of-a-kind 20x bet Crown down to 4x Gold coins with four card values of 3 or 2x. Robber Wilds can appear on all reels and Safe scatters on the odd reels. No modifiers so on with the really original bonus mechanic.
Empty the Bank Re-spins
Land the scatters on 1, 3 and 5 to get re-spins. These are on a 5x 4 grid but this can increase to 7x6 if you land symbols to expand. You start with 3 cash times bet tiles for your 3 scatters and get 3 re-spins which reset every time a new cash or special symbol lands. These are:
Money - a cash value of 1-10x bet
Walkie Talkie - adds 1 or 2x to all money symbols in view
Computer - doubles the value of all money symbols in view
Burglar - collects everything in view and gets that total
Alarm - increases the re-spins to 4 from 3
Drill - opens blank spaces on first column and pays 1x
Hammer - opens blank spaces on seventh column and pays 1x
Ladder - first time opens row 5, second row 6. If drill and hammer have already appeared or do afterwards, you playing maximum 7x6 positions.
Safe Door - land 3 of these to open the vault and get instantly paid the round limit of 10,000x bet.
Empty the Bank slot has a 96.48% RTP and is simply a rip-off of Relax Gaming's Money Train 2 slot, only less fun and with 10,000x limit as opposed to 50,000x. And it looks a lot worse. So what's the point of ever depositing a single cent in this particular bank? Not a lot...
