Joker Troupe slot by Push Gaming is quite different to their usual ultra-high potential and high volatility games. It's quite basic looking too when compared with the spectacular graphics on The Shadow Order and doesn't have the serious big win capabilities of Gems of the Gods or even the far gentler game released prior to this, Razor Shark. The appearance here is very basic with a patterned purple background, black reels and some computer-generated beat music playing as we spin. On The Reels...
We get 4 reels here of 3 rows each and 10 fixed pay lines. The 4-of-a-kind pays on Joker Troupe slot are quite high though with symbols appearing stacked so full screen hits are possible. The 8's pay 100x bet, Dice 50x, Artichokes 3x, Starfruit 2.5x and Red or Blue Balls 1x. That's it for the symbols as there aren't any Wilds or random modifiers but as the name suggests, there are scatters here in the form of Red, Blue and Green Jokers.
Joker Features
You only get the Joker scatters on reels 2,3 and 4 and each spin only one type will feature on the reels so no frustrating mixed scatters!
Red Joker Free Spins - you get 20 seconds of free spins and any Red Jokers landing will increase the frequency of the free spins and once 3 are landed, the meter resets to another 10 seconds and so-on. You eventually run outof time and are paid your accumulated wins.
Green Joker Wheel - the wheel has standard illuminated segments of 1 to 10x awards plus a re-spin and booster segments which award 2x, 3x, Red Joker Free Spins and 100x multipliers. The round ends once the same booster segment has been hit 3 times.
Blue Joker Feature - you will get 3 respins and the scatters will be frozen as Blue Joker Hats. Only these and Red Jokers will appear on the individual tile reels and each one appearing adds a cash value and resets the respins to 3. Once 3 hats are collected, your grid adds another row and the Joker Hats then pay 2x stake for each landed, open another row this is 3x per Joker Hat and if you open the tenth and last row all the Hats pay 25x on it. If you land 3 Red Jokers you get the Red Joker Free Spins afterwards.
Our View...
Joker Troupe slot is definitely fun and easy to play although the rules are really best explained when you watch the repsective features in action. The features are quite easy to land but you do have a 25,000x top win potential, although you can rack up some good profits with a good frequency of features. Conversely, the base game isn't very generous if you're not getting them regularly! The animations are okay with basic sounds and graphics but we do see a good 96.68% RTP for our trouble. I wouldn't say this slot is the joker in the pack, but nevertheless I wouldn't hesitate to have another try...
