Sevens High Ultra slot by Quickspin is merely the old Sevens High slot with an option to choose Ultra mode over Classic to play in, for higher volatility and variance. On the reels...
So you choose your play mode first here on the 25-line 5-reel Sevens High Ultra slot. The formula is the same in both cases - every win grants a free re-spin and 2 wins will light up the Blue 7 which now becomes a Wild, 4 win the Green 7 and 6 wins the Red 7. This is shown on a meter by the left of the reels and unlike the other standard pay symbols, 7's can appear stacked. You get stacked Wilds on all reels anyway and we need to show the 5-of-a-kind wins in both Ultra and Classic mode respectively: Wild 7's (any colour) or Wilds 100/20x bet, Blue, Green or Red 7's 4/2x, Bell 3/1.6x, Star 2/1.6x and Cherries, Orange, Lemon or Plum all at 1x in either mode. Your final symbol is a Glitter Bonus scatter on all reels.

In Classic you can get only 3 scatters which awards 10 spins and a 3x win, you can retrigger them. In Ultra Mode, you get the same but can now get 4 scatters for 15 spins and 10x bet or all 5 for 500x bet and 35 spins which retrigger with same quantities. These need to be on consecutive reels left-to-right. Your enhancement is that now every 2 wins turns one of the three 7's Wild for the duration and awards +2 spins so you can up to 6 extra. It's a volatile feature that is often disappointing but can pay big, but full retriggers are very rare!
Our View...
Sevens High Ultra slot is hardly any better than the original in my opinion. We get a good 96.54% RTP but bizarrely the Ultra Mode is only 96.06% for some inexplicable reason. It runs smoothly, has decent animations and is not tiring to play. Free spins though are hard to land and mostly dire in outcome with big wins rare and full retriggers nigh on impossible. The tease spins with scatters on the first two reels are far too many in number and become rapidly irritating alas. Sure, you could in theory end up with 5 reels of Wilds in base game and bonus for 500 or 2500x respectively (if Ultra Mode) but frankly I would die of boredom waiting...
