Free Ramses’ Revenge slot
Please be patient, some games take longer to load than others!
Ramses' Revenge slot by Relax Gaming takes us into the deserts of Egypt where we have an explorer in the Temple of Karnak - where have we seen that before I wonder? The reels lie over the stone floor, you get standard Egyptian music gently playing and bangs as the reels stop as you might expect given the vista here. It is with great relief that I can tell you this slot is not yet another clone of Book of Ra Deluxe or that other game by Play'n Go that emulated that Novomatic classic. In fact, this game has more in common with Raging Rhino than those games! So will Ramses be having his revenge on our bankroll here?
There are 6 reels of 4 rows each, stacked symbols and no pay lines as we have 4096-ways here on Ramses' Revenge slot. There are 8 standard symbols, high and low of which the 6-of-a-kind wins are 4x stake Gold Mask, 3x Purple, 2x Green, 1.5x Blue with four minor icon symbols all paying 0.7x for a full way. Wilds can appear in the form of Mummies appearing on all reels except the first and last but only in the bonus. Our final symbol is an Explorer scatter but we do get a random Sandstorm feature where 2 to 6 waves of sand can each add 1 to 4 mystery symbols to the grid which will all reveal the same icon.
If you get 2 or more scatters you get 6 free spins. In some jurisdictions you can buy this feature for 80x bet. Wherever your triggering scatters landed, a Wild Mummy is placed on the grid and is sticky. Each scatter landing during the bonus adds 1 extra spin and the nearest Mummy Wild will swap to its position and add 1x to the Wild Multiplier. If you land more scatters than there are Mummies, then the excess one(s) will also become a sticky Wild Mummy that can increase in multiplier too when further scatters land. Scatters can only land on reels 2 to 5. There are no limits on the Wild multipliers and they are multiplicative too.
Ramses' Revenge slot isn't bad and I'd say it was a medium-volatility slot where the free spins aren't too rare, although decent wins in the base game rely on the random Sandstorm mystery feature. The game isn't tiring to persist with with sounds and animation not too trying and we get a reasonable 96.15% RTP. The bonus is never going to pay big wins of say 1000x or more and you really need very early extra scatters or more than 2 triggering scatters to stand a chance of big hits in the bonus. That said, although the game is nothing special, I don't think you need to fear the revenge of Ramses that much...
