The UK operator Cozy Games is the latest company to be swallowed by gambling industry behemoth GVC Holdings for an undisclosed sum.

Cozy Games, who are most notable for their bingo products and white labelled operator sites, have a strong position in several regulated markets. This makes them an ideal proposition for UK-listed GVC, who cannot entertain being involved in any markets which may be considered grey or no go areas.

No official announcement has been made by either company as yet, but the The UK Gambling Commission have updated the Cosy Games providers license details to reflect the takeover, so that they now appear under the GVC umbrella of ElectraWorks Limited UK. Players at any of the Cozy Games-powered sites will be updated in due course about the changes to the license arrangement, with very little else likely to change in their playing experience.

GVC’s shares were up 10p this morning, just 1.1% which may be due to their being no official announcement to the market that the deal has taken place as yet.

Cozy Games are principally known for their bingo products, but they do have a number of decent slot games which include the royal-themed King of Slots, the Egyptian-inspired Treasures of Egypt and the UK-focused Big Ben.
