Slingshot Studios was established in 2016 as a slot game development studio. The company is based out of Durban, South Africa and employs somewhere in the region of 100 staff.
The first slot game launched by Slingshot Studios was the 2018 medieval fantasy themed release Cash of Kingdoms. The first major hit from Slingshot was the 2021 branded release Game of Thrones Power Stacks, based on the hugely popular HBO show. The game put Slingshot on the map among up and coming developers. Other notable titles released over the years include Eruption Blaze Cashingo, Links of Ra, Chilli Fusion and African Legends.
Some of the innovative mechanics developed by Slingshot include Power Stacks, Link & Win and Cashingo. It operates as an exclusive game development studio for Games Global, which acts a marketing and distribution partner.
Slingshot Studios hold licenses with UKGC, MGA and the regulatory bodies of Gibraltar and Ontario, Canada.
