On The Reels...

There are 20 pay lines here on Gold Digger slot with single and double-stacked symbols of which the Miner is best pay for 5-of-a-kind at 25x bet, cart 15x, Lantern 7.5x, Pickaxe 5x with four card values of 4 down to 1.5x for a full line. I am happy to say that iSoftBet have improved this because as well as Nuggets there are Reel Boosters to collect, and once you get 3 of any colour they will activate their individual enhancements.

Blue Arrow - will unlock up to 3 extra rows on the grid, increasing the chances of collecting more Nuggets.
Green Dollar - will boost the cash values already collected.
Red Heart - you will find your re-spins increase from 3 to 4 for the remainder of the bonus.
Purple Multipliers - collect 3 of these, you get a 2x multiplier applied to the round. Collect 3 more then it goes to 5x, then 10x if you get really lucky and get it a third time.
You can also get the other Reel Boosters more than once.

Our View...

Gold Digger slot was leading me to think about mediocre and formulaic slots before I firstly saw the modifiers in the base game which can be good and then the bells and whistles they added to the bonus round. This really makes up for the awful music and graphics and overall appearance of this 96.00% RTP game. It also means you may actually win a fair amount in the re-spin bonus which isn't too hard to trigger either. So as a mechanic, it's pretty alright but I'm not too sure I'd break my back digging this game up again...
