Kiss Reels of Rock slot review

kiss reels of rock slot gameKiss Reels of Rock slot by Play'n Go supplements their heavy metal or rock games collection. There have been many such as Saxon slot, my choice Helloween slot and if you like things really intense, Demon slot. They weren't the first to use Kiss as Gene Simmon's famous tongue also appears on the original WMS giant reels version of the older Kiss slot. As you can imagine their tracks appear in cycle when you play, their images feature on the reels and these are set naturally over a live concert stage. So can it be a crazy crazy night for our bankroll or will there be no gold discs for us today?

On the reels...
You get 6 reels on Kiss Reels of Rock slot in a 2-3-4-4-3-2 pattern and thus 576-ways to win. Symbols can appear stacked singly or 2-high and the 6-of-a-kinds are: Platinum Disc Wild 15x bet, Red Artist 12x, Purple 9x, Blue 7.5x, Green 6x with five card values of 4 down to 1.5x which strangely goes Ace down to 9 with no Kings! There are two random events, Lock and Load with either reels 1,6 or 2,5 or 3,4 twinned and there's Drive me Wild where at least one 2x Wild is added to the grid. You need 3 World Tour scatters to trigger the free games.

World Tour
You choose from various combinations of Normal and Encore free spins. The choices are 20/1 spins, 16/2, 12/3, 8/4 or 4/5. The Lock and Load modifier is active on all Normal spins and the final Normal spin may give 3 scatters to trigger the Encore ones which also have Lock and Load active, but are played on all 6 reels having 4 rows or in other words 4096-ways plus all Wilds landing in Encore will be at 2x. We are told 50,000x bet is possible here.

Our View...
KISS Reels of Rock slot has a RTP of 96.20% and is great if you like the glam metal music of Kiss. The soundtrack has plenty of it, the explosions and effects are good but aside from the occasional big hit from the random features, the base game isn't great. The free spins are not easy to land and generally don't pay much unless you get the Encore on the last one which happens about 1/4 bonuses or less if you choose the more volatile ones from the right options like Tokyo and Rio. That said, it's at least a bit different from their normal music ones of 10 or 20 lines only. You can give this a go and you just may not get the kiss of death for your bankroll if you're lucky...
