Buffalo Blitz Megaways slot by Playtech is their first use of the BTG Megaways license so I suppose it was inevitable they would use their popular Buffalo Blitz slot as the initial game. WMS did the same when releasing Raging Rhino Megaways and we mustn't forget Netent and their Gonzo's Quest Megaways, again using a tried-and-tested theme. So we return to the north American prairie background with a familiar range of beasts and sounds on the reels to complete the setting. The 6 reels here offer 2-7 symbols including the scroll of 4 single ones above the centre 4 reels so we have 324-117649 ways possible on Buffalo Blitz Megaways slot. Wild Diamonds appear on reels 2-6 but not on the top scroll. Free Spin scatters can appear on all 6 reels including the top one unusually for a Megaways slot. Symbols can be stacked and the 6-of-a-kind pays are 6x bet Buffalo, 5x Cougar or Racoon, 4x Bear or Moose with six card values paying 3, 2.5 or 2x for each full way. Thunder - 8, 12 or 16 spins with Wilds at 3, 4 or 6x and again retrigger in the same quantities but this time with +4 spins for 3 scatters.
Buffalo - 6, 9 or 12 spins with Wilds at 4, 5 or 10x, retriggering in the same quantities this time with +3 spins for 3 scatters.

Our View...
Buffalo Blitz Megaways slot has a 96.23% RTP at best including progressive contributions. The base game is rather dull due to low win frequency although when those 5 or 6-reel Buffalo stacks line up you will get a very big win! Free spins can take a while to see here and are often disappointing due to the high 25,000x potential and its corresponding extreme volatility. Don't expect retriggers or extra spins like you might on the old 4096-way version or you'll be disappointed. It's really a lottery bonus depending on one mega spin of high symbols and multiple Wilds, same as the original slot. I'm certain there will be some big hits produced from this slot, but I'm not sure I'll be staying out on the plain myself long enough to see one...
