Beat The Beast Kraken's Lair slot by Thunderkick was released within days of the the first Beat The Beast game, Mighty Sphinx. Don't worry, it's not clone although there are one or two similarities. The theme isn't one of them as it's a classic Nordic myth this time concerning the dreaded Kraken, undersea beast. We get an underwater background and appropriate scary music here, much like Leander's Kraken Conquest and we can hope it's as good as Play'n Go's older 3-reel feature classic, Eye of The Kraken. Beat the Beast slot is a good looking game with decent music, mature graphics and excellent animations alongside a RTP of 96.12%. It's a very volatile game though with the feature pay very unpredictable ranging from disappointing to huge wins! The base game isn't tiring on the eyes or ears which is always a good thing and you do occasionally see some nice hits when those Wilds land as part of either a 4 or 5-of-a-kind win. You may be surprised at what you can escape this lair with in the end...
