Flash Cash slot has a theme of Touring Car Racing, not something the title of this game would suggest. The reel set appears inside a car windscreen facing into a night scene on a Le Man's type of racetrack and we have the normal ticking sounds as the reels spin and jingle if a win should occur. I feel we could have had some good sound effects here considering the theme as we get on Netent's Drive - Multiplier Mayhem game or Microgaming's Supe It Up. That said the graphics are very good, so will your cash go in a flash here?
On the reels...
We start this race with 30 pay lines over 5 reels of 3 rows each, the standard Ainsworth set-up. There is a Golden $ symbol on reels 2, 3, and 4 acting as the stacked Wild which therefore has no value of its own. The rest of the symbols are single only and Orange Sports Car pays 16.67x bet for a 5-of-a-kind followed by the chequered Flags at 13.33x, the Speedometer and Wheel at 6.66x and the Helmet at 5x for the 5. The usual card values form the remainder all awarding 3.33x for a full line. You can actually achieve a 50x bet for 5 scattered Gold Trophies anywhere in view of which 3 are required to trigger the bonus round.

Your 3+ Gold Trophies will start 10 free spins. There is a 6th. reel added which has blank, scatter or 2x or 3x, or 5x multiplier on it. You get 5 extra games for 3 or more scatters and it's now possible to get 6 scatters which will pay 250x stake. The stacked Gold $ is added to reel 2 as well as the usual last 3 reels, and reels 2 and/or 4 will now expand if not landing fully in view. Pays though are reduced from what we receive in the base game by 60% for the highest 2 symbols and 50% for the lower ones and card values. What Ainsworth gives with one hand via the multiplier reel, they take away with the other!
Our View...
Flash Cash slot has the same formula as all too many Ainsworth games of late and is in fact a straight copy of Mighty Wilds with one change - the mixed pays on that game's free spins are substituted here by slightly higher values for the main symbols. We can see this as the RTP is almost identical to the Mighty Wilds slot too at 93.83%. They missed a trick here with good graphics which could have had some specialized sound effects added and instead we have another tedious low-volatility game with little potential for any significant wins. Don't bother flashing your cash at this one...
