Carnaval slot summary
An addition to Microgaming’s bustling mobile slots line-up is the amusement-themed game Carnaval. It brings together lots of bright colors, music and characters from a party you might expect to find in the streets of Rio de Janeiro every year. Although I am sad to see that the game designers have opted to keep the imagery safe, by only using head shots rather than scantily-clad Carnaval dancers. Despite its bight colors and sounds, this mobile slot does seem to have an old skool feel to it, with only 9 pay lines and no obvious bonus round included.

Although I have yet to have a big win in this game, I am led to believe from reviewing the paytable that the best wins come from landing multiple scatters on a payline. Up to 50x is available for up to 5 scatters (which any regular slot player will tell you is incredibly hard to hit on a 9 line slot). There are other wins in normal play, with the carnival symbol being the best paying of them all.
Our view...
I find it hard to believe that Carnaval will capture the imagination of slots players. However, it is probably within the first 25 slots from Microgaming to be recreated for mobile and tablet devices. This would tell me that it is more popular than I give it credit and perhaps it does have an appeal to a certain type of person. For me it is lacking in entertainment, despite it being created around one of the most vibrant and exciting street parties in the world. Maybe try it and see if you agree with me. If you do then you will probably be heading over to the robbery-themed Break da Bank Again or the festive mobile slot Deck the Halls.
