Space Enigma slot review
Space Enigma slot by Microgaming via All41 Studios is one of the easiest reviews I ever had to type. The only 'enigma' here is what the hell has happened to the creative colossus of developer Microgaming that has simply got smaller studios to provide their games for nigh on 2 years? As if that wasn't bad enough, most of them are copies of existing games from other developers. The game has space age electronic music and sound effects with transparent reels over a cosmic background. Yes, it's a copy of Netent's Starburst. As is Play'n Go's Starblast except they had the imagination to add multipliers to the Wilds. As is Nextgen's Starmania but they added a free spins game into the mix. Alas here we get nothing new at all so let's just skim through the basics.
On The Reels...
You have 10 lines over 5 reels of 3 rows each with stacked symbols on Space Enigma slot. There are crystals as the symbols which pay from 25x bet for a 5-of-a-kind for the solid Yellow one overlaid with a triangle down to 2.5x for the lowest basic crystal of the seven appearing here. The game pays both ways, right to left too.
A multicoloured Star can appear on the middle 3 reels which will expand as a Wild and hold for one respin. Wins are then added to the initial win if applicable. If a second Wild Star lands, wins are paid and a second respin is awarded with both reels Wild. A third one lands and you get a final respin with the middle 9 positions Wild. You can also land two or even all 3 at once. Once in a decade a full screen of top symbols may occur for an astronomic 500x bet.
I could sum Space Enigma slot up in one or two choice adjectives but will try and be polite. It's boring, pointless, sterile and lacks potential. Aside from that it's alright. There's a 96.20% RTP but even if it were 99% I wouldn't play it. The game is one of those mechanics that many developers seem to believe is a rite of passage to have to make, like Book of Ra Deluxe and of course their own versions of the 4096-way game Raging Rhino. It really should find a black hole and disappear forever...Review by Gamingslots
