Coils of Cash slot review
Coils of Cash slot by Play'n Go is one of those futuristic lab-themed slots of which there aren't many but those before have tended to be decent. Volts and Bolts by WMS was one example, but better in my opinion were Nikola Tesla’s Incredible Machine slot from Yggdrasil and Ash Gaming's classic old Time Machine slot. Here we have groovy music, a plain background with coils above the reels and symbols reflecting the scientific subject. We even have what appears to be a Megaways-style reel set-up! So can these coils provide a buzz for our bankroll or will it be a shocking disappointment?
On the reels...
There are 2304-ways on Coils of Cash slot with 6 reels of 3 rows each and a top scrolling reel of 4 symbols where the Wilds can appear. Tiles cascade individually so can appear stacked and above the 4 centre reels you have, as well as the scrolling symbols, multipliers beginning at 1x and these are raised by 1x to a maximum of 5x every time that reel brings a new symbol down. The multipliers only apply if that symbol present on the scroll with the multiplier underneath it is involved in a win. If more than one is used, they multiply each other so 625x is possible on some wins if all 4 top symbols are the same and a win occurs!
The 6-of-a-kind pays are quite low as you may expect with the Yellow Bot at 5x bet, Brown Bot 4x, Canister 3x, Key Gadget 2.5x and six card values paying either 1 or 0.8x for each full way. Scatters are on all lower reels in the form of Electric Orbs.
You need to collect 3 to 6 Orbs for 10 to 25 free games. During these the 4 multipliers aren't reset between spins and you will earn 2 extra spins each time a scatter lands during them. There is some decent potential here and we are told an incredible 30,000x bet is the possible here!
Despite the tipping of their hat towards the Megaways idea, Play'n Go have made a pretty good game here with Coils of Cash slot. The base game can chuck in sequences of over 100x bet and I must say the free games bonus is one of the most enthralling and involving I have seen to date, not just because of the huge potential wins. The slot is easy to watch and listen to with a 96.20% factory RTP, but can be as low as 88% if the operator chooses, so always check. Coils of Cash definitely provided me with a pleasant shock...Review by Gamingslots
