Atlantis slot review
Atlantis slot by Red Tiger opens with a stunning backdrop of this mythical undersea lost city and spooky music with somewhat incongruous loud sound effects when the symbols form wins. Overall it looks good though and we are told on the splash screen 5,000x bet is possible too. This subject has seen a lot of activity in the past with ReelPlay's Atlantis Megaways slot the most recent and Playtech's Atlantis Queen being a very old example with Blueprint's Master of Atlantis slot arriving in between them. So, like this old city, will our bankroll end up being lost too?
On The Reels...
You will play 30 fixed pay lines over 5 reels of 4 rows on Atlantis Slot. Symbols cascade in individually and winning ones are replaced from above by new tiles so you can win more than once per spin. The 5-of-a-kind pays are 5x stake for Gold Temple, 4x Treasure, 3xTelescope, 2.5x Conch, 2x Anchorwith four card suits from 1.2x down to 0.5x for a full line. There are free spins scatters on all reels and we don't get any Wilds as standard but do get a Chest which can appear. This stays on the grid between spins until it hits the bottom row where it then creates a Wild Reel with a 1 to 5x multiplier.
So you get 10 free games for 3 scatters in view and +3 for any extra ones. During the bonus any scatters will each randomly award 1 to 8 extra spins and you'd be unlucky not to see one or two. The enhancement is the fact that each time the Chest Wild reel appears, the multiplier doesn't reset so begins on the last figure it showed before it rises up to 5x with each appearance. Usually quite a decent bonus to watch and you're unlucky to get less than 50x in most cases.
Atlantis slot is nothing special but at least we get a new kind of Wild mechanic here even if the RTP of 95.77% is pretty unspectacular. The Chest lands often enough in the base game to make it interesting and some reasonable wins can be had too. The bonus isn't too infrequent and is quite volatile but as said, poor outcomes aren't common and of course there's that potential for big wins there. It looks and sounds fine with decent animations and I may dive down to this lost city again...Review by Gamingslots
