Captain Xeno's Earth Adventure slot by Play'n Go is one of those zany sci-fi themed slots which we see now and again. Think of WMS' Invaders From the Planet Moolah slot which wasn't a bad game, or Blueprint Gaming's Mars Attacks! slot and you get the idea, although I preferred the old Ash Gaming The War of the Worlds slot for its more adult appearance. Here we have the weird noises one would expect over the creepy music and reels set inside what appears to be a metal spaceship bucket to complete the effect. So will Xeno be bringing our bankroll down to earth suddenly or can we reach the stars here?

You get 5 reel of 4 rows with 1024-ways here on Captain Xeno's Earth Adventure slot. Symbols can be stacked with 5-of-a-kinds paying 3x bet Wild or Xeno, 2.5x Filla character, 2x Boon, 1.5x Drox, 1x Atom with five card values of 0.4 or 0.3x for each full way. Electric scatters appear on all reels and you get some modifiers as with most Play'n Go slots. Electric Shock will select one type of symbol on the reels after your spin and split them into two for double pays if you have a win with them. Emergency Wilds adds 1-5 Wilds to the grid during a spin and lastly Engine Recharge adds two scatters to the grid before the spin ends, increasing bonus trigger chances.

You get 8,10 or 12 for 3,4 or 5 scatters. During the round, scatters are collected for split symbol upgrades and this is good as you get more splitting symbols during the bonus. Collect 7 scatters to make splitting symbols split into 3 instead of 2, collect another 4 to upgrade to 4 splits per symbol. Each time you manage to upgrade the splitting symbols, extra spins are awarded as there's no retriggers. We are told 10,000x bet is feasible here.

Captain Xeno's Earth Adventure slot has a 96.255 RTP and is quite gentle in volatility despite the 10,000x top pay. The base game awards frequent modifiers and small wins to maintain the bankroll although playing this silly slot may make you wish the bankroll went quicker! The free spins aren't difficult to trigger although they are pretty dire despite the potential and invariably fall short by 1 or 2 scatters for the upgrades. Even with regular split symbols they aren't up to much as these inevitably tend to be 3 or 4OAK low card values. Good luck in trying to get an astronomic win on this slot...
