Free The Grand Galore slot
Please be patient, some games take longer to load than others!
The Grand Galore slot by Elk Studios seems to be themed on 1920's swing clubs with a snazzy background of red lights, soft music and the tokens of wealth as reel symbols. There are a few period slots with a similar theme like The Invisible Man from Netent or the more arcane Moonshine Riches from the same developer, although the best one may be said to be Play'n Go's Jazz of New Orleans slot. So will it be money galore to add to our bankroll or a quick grand down here?
On The Reels...
Six reels of four rows each tells us 4096-ways is the set-up here (for now!) on The Grand Galore slot. Symbols can appear stacked and the 6-of-a-kinds are 5x bet Gold Panther, 0.9x Red Gem, 0.8x Purple, 0.7x Green, 0.5x Blue with four card values of 0.4 or 0.3x for a full way. Wilds can appear 2-6 and there is a Diamond bonus scatter on all reels.
There's more to this than meets the eye though as any win will trigger a re-spin with the reels expanded by one row for each symbol in the win, above those symbols. Each reel can expand to 10 rows, which if they all did would mean 1 million ways! Now it's the winning symbols which vanish and their positions respin, with any stacked positions always landing the same symbol on their respective reel. You can though get random synced re-spins where 2-5 respinning reels will all stop with the same symbol.
You need 3 scatters for 10 spins, rising to 25 for all 6 scatters in steps of 5. You can retrigger them and the enhancement is that every 5 wins will trigger a Grand Synced Respin beginning with 2 reels and progressing up to a maximum of 5. The first one will expand reel 4 by 1 row before the Synced Respin, the second expands both reels 4 and 5 with all subsequent Grand Synced Respins expanding reels 4,5 and 6. We are told 10,000x bet is achievable here.
The Grand Galore slot is not sure what it wants to be in my view. It's like a hybrid of a Megaways game, a respin-wins game and Twin Spin slot. That said, it's easy on the ear and colourful with some potential to pay well in the base game as well as the hard-to-trigger free games bonus. The RTP is 96.00% here and the low symbol pays are naturally due to the huge amount of ways of them it's possible to land, even in the base game as said. You could hit some monsters in the bonus as those reels tend to expand far more and the syncing helps wins occur. It may not be wins galore here, but it's a grand enough game to visit again...
