Break da Bank Again Megaways slot review

break da bank again megaways slot gameBreak da Bank Again Megaways slot I suppose was inevitable as logically Microgaming like to take their most famous archive slots and use the mechanic on those. Here it has been made by Gameburger Studios, a partner of MG. We retain the catchy and superb music from the famous 9-liner, BDBA slot and this in turn was a derivative of the classic 3-reel Break da Bank slot.  After this we had a rather pathetic money-grubbing Break Da Bank Again Respins slot.  The symbols are familiar and I guess the volatility will be just as excruciating too!  So can we really break da bank here or will it likely be a case of 'break da bankroll'?

On the reels...
We have 2 to 7 rows for each of the 6 reels with a top scroll of 4 single symbols on Break da Bank Again Megaways slot meaning 324-117649 ways per play. Symbols can appear stacked and a feature buy is available in applicable jurisdictions at 100, 130 or even 500x bet. Your symbols are familiar and 6-of-a-kinds pay 15x bet Sapphires, 4x Gold Bars, 3x Banknotes, 2.5x Cheque, 2x Coins with five card values paying 1x down to 0.8x for any full ways of six. You still get the traditional 5x Wilds but these only appear on the top scrolling reel and regardless of how many, all wins using them pay at 5x multiplier. You get the traditional Bank Vault scatters on the centre 4 reels only, but not on the scrolling reel. No modifiers, so on with the feature!

Free Spins
Microgaming have stuck with the traditional Bonanza slot format here with an increasing multiplier by 1x for every winning tumble. You require 3 or 4 scatters on the centre 4 reels for 10 or 15 spins respectively, beginning at 1x multiplier and now the 5x Wilds can also appear on the normal part of the reels. The player will get an extra spin for each scatter appearing if 1 or 2, if landing 3 or 4 they will earn 10 or 15 extra spins. If paying a whopping 500x bet you would get 15 spins starting at an incredible 20x multiplier! Naturally the bonus is very volatile and relies on extra spins and retriggers for collecting big totals rather than the single 'Hollywood Hit' of Sapphires like the traditional 9-line version did. It's hard to see how the player would get more than a couple of thousand times stake here though unless using the ridiculous 500x bonus buy.

Our View...
Break da Bank Again Megaways slot has a 96.21% RTP and to be fair has pretty much retained the sounds and appearance of the famous original game. You do rely on the bonus free spins round here though as there's none of those multi-hundred times base game hits possible here unless via numerous ways of 6OAK Sapphires with a 5x Wild, very unlikely. It's all about the free games as I said, but these can go on quite a while as extra spins are common via single or double scatters although retriggers are very rare. Like the original BDBA slot, you can have many free spins and fail to collect much so overall it's very hit-and-miss. This is one for the BDBA aficionado rather than dedicated Megaways player...
