If you land 3 or more Gold Coins you get a grid of 3 to 5 reels with your triggering coins held in place with their cash values. You have a fixed jackpot amount allocated to each reel 1-5 and these are in order Mini 10x, Minor 20x, Maxi 50x, Major 100x and Grand 1000x. So you now spin the 3+ reels pertaining to your triggering reels with only Gold Coins or blanks on them, 3 chances which reset every time a new coin is added. Fill a reel up with 4 coins to win its respective fixed jackpot. So this means to win the Grand 1000x you need one of your triggering Gold Coins to land on reel 5! Failure to win any jackpot simply means you are paid your Gold Coin amounts total when you run out of spins.

With a RTP of 96.405 Gold Collector slot is of low-medium volatility and a bit tedious if you ask me, the features are frequEnt but never seem to pay much so without hitting the Grand Jackpot you will seldom see any win exceeding 100x. The game is average as regards graphics and animations and the sounds soon become very irksome. It's simply a mediocre game bringing nothing original to the world of slots, yet another 'shelf filler' from the once respected Microgaming world. If you want to collect gold, go anywhere but here...
