Phoenix Graveyard slot summary
Phoenix Graveyard slot by Elk Studios is one their X-iter versions which essentially means split symbols for many more win ways. This has been used on games especially Nitropolis slot, but more noticeably on Nitropolis 2 slot and the last one of the series, Nitropolis 3 slot actually has the X-iter tag on. The theme is dark with a medieval village at night as the background and very ominous spooky music and characters. We have 5 reels of 3 rows each with elongated symbols to allow for expansion on Phoenix Graveyard slot. There's 243-ways to win initially and the 5-of-a-kind pays are King 4x, Queen 2.25x, Knave 1.5x with four card values of 1.2 down to 06x. Each spin you may see any of the 15 positions designated a Tombstone sliced to divide the symbol landing from 2 up to 10 times. If a Wild lands in a Tombstone position, its multiplier is from 2-10x according to the number of splits.
Modifiers
You can see Phoenix Wilds which jump and remain on the reels during any re-spins and free spins. If it lands on a Tombstone position, it carries that multiplier when it does so. A Grim Reaper Wild can only land on reels 3-5 but when it does it offers re-spins as it goes leftwards, with expanded positions. It then attacks positions adjacent holding a high-value symbol or Phoenix Wild, splits them before moving one reel left. When it disappears, it may randomly appear back on reel 5 to continue the re-spins. You may have seen this mechanic on the Wild Toro slots. You can see more than one Grim Reaper at once, when it battles the Phoenix Wild you can get either a doubled Wild multiplier for the Grim Reaper, for the Phoenix or the Phoenix Wild jumps to a new position leaving a feather Wild in its place. The Feather Wild also jumps to new positions. Finally, Sudden Death is that any position not holding a sticky symbol such as scatter, Phoenix, Feather or Grim Reaper Wild can be sliced randomly any time during spinning.

You get 6 spins for 3 scatters and a sticky Phoenix Wild, 8 for 4 with 2 Phoenix Wilds and 10 for 5 with 3 Phoenix Wilds. These appear in the positions the scatters did and behave as above, jumping each spin or re-spin. Tombstone positions from the base game spin also remain and you can retrigger, getting even more Phoenix Wilds on the screen. You win is capped at 10,000x bet here.

I have to say Phoenix Graveyard slot is great to watch and listen to as you play even if it's hard to land decent wins in the base game. We get a 95.00% RTP here and the feature can take a long time to trigger. When is does you need as many Tombstone split positions as quick as possible as 6 spins with 1 Phoenix doesn't bode well for big wins. To give you an idea, the feature buy for a 3-scatter trigger is 100x bet, 4-scatter 200x and 5-scatter 500x bet! You can buy the Wilds battle for 25x and the Sudden Death split Tombstone positions on all 5 reels for 10x bet. It's very volatile with considerable potential, but unlike the phoenix your bankroll won't rise from the ashes if you get burnt here...
